Policies and Procedures
Please book your service a couple of weeks in advance to secure pet sitting services and a month in advance over major holidays. For all new clients, an initial consult is required so that we may obtain paperwork; familiarize InDogNito Pet Care with your pet’s routines and to obtain keys for service.
Last minute reservations: If you need to make a last minute schedule change, we understand that emergencies happen. InDogNito Pet Care will do it’s best to accommodate your pet care needs.
Cancellations: Once we have scheduled and confirmed your pet care service, cancelling your scheduled service will be subject to our cancellation policy. Please refer to our cancellation policies on the “Services and Rates” page.
Extension of service: In the event that you are away longer than originally scheduled, please contact the office immediately at (303)919-2472 via text, phone call or email at InDogNitoPetCare@gmail.com. We will do our best to add additional visits to your service and will contact you with confirmation of additional service. If you contact us by email or text and don’t hear from us within one hour, please call.
“Check ins”: You may call, text or email the office anytime to check on your pets. We will respond as quickly as possible.
“I’m home”: Please call, text or email the office any time to let us know you have arrived home. This will give us peace of mind in knowing that you have arrived home safely to your pets.
Early returns: It’s understandable that plans change. Once we have scheduled, confirmed and started your pet sitting service time has been set aside for those visits. No refunds will be given for early returns.
InDogNito Pet Care requires that each client supply us with 3 sets of house keys. We recommend that your keys stay with InDogNito Pet Care for the convenience of future services and to enable online, email or telephone reservations. Should you choose to have your keys returned; there will be a $10 key return and $10 pick-up charge if future visits are requested.
If pet sitting visits are shared with other pet sitters, friends, family or neighbors, InDogNito Pet Care’s insurance will not be effective for the duration of the visits.
Please visit our “online travel form“. This form has many benefits and keeps us informed on your travel plans, how to reach you as well as pet care updates.
It is the pet owners responsibility to ‘pet-proof’ any areas of your home and or property to which your pets have access. This includes inspecting fences, gates, latches, locks, doors and other devices meant to contain the pet(s) or to restrict access. InDogNito Pet Care is not responsible and has no liability for any injuries sustained to the pet(s) or damage the pet may cause while in the home or property.
In the event of inclement weather and the roads are impassable, we will request the name and phone number of a person nearby and will contact that person for assistance. We will contact you immediately and keep you informed of these events.
Payment is required before your service begins unless other arrangements have been made. Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted. If other arrangements for payment have been made and payment is not received within 48 after service ends, a 25% surcharge of the invoice total will be applied to the balance.
