Joan Morell, Owner
Joan is the owner of InDogNito Pet Care. She has always loved being around animals and found herself leaving her systems analyst profession behind to pursue her passion. She received her obedience certification in 2002 and her grooming certification in 2004. Joan is also a Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner and enjoys the energy work with the animals. Joan is passionate about working and being around animals. “Our animals have so much to teach us about life and unconditional love if we just stop and listen”.
In addition to pet sitting, Joan handles all the administrative and management tasks of InDogNito Pet Care such as scheduling, updates, phone calls and emails. She also sets up appointments for new clients and consultations.
In addition to pet sitting, Joan enjoys bike riding, hiking, fishing, yoga, and reading. Joan has participated in the Children’s Hospital Courage Classic.
Joan has a Computer Science Degree from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. She is a certified obedience instructor, professional groomer and a Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner. She is also the owner of Black Dog Bake House, which specializes in creating healthy, natural treats for dogs.
